Pascua en las montañas / Easter in the mountains

After having traveled for more than 13000 kilometers what better to get myself more tired..
I had been in a small town named Szczawa last winter where I spent New Years the way I wanted. But this time it wasn't winter, it's spring and summer is closer day by day. Everything is green now. It's a different planet.
I haven't even been back for a week in Kraków and I been to more places in town than in the almost three weeks I stayed before.
Unlike the first time, this time it only took one ride from Kraków to Szczawa. Including icecream.

It was my really first time in the polish mountains. TheTatras which are the highest mountain range in Poland at almost 2500 meters above sea level will have to wait a little more for me to visit them. For the moment, I lost my polish mountain virginity with the Gorce mountains and it's highest peak: Kudłoń. The landscape is these mountains is just  breathtaking.
It was long weekend and everyday was a really nice weather. All day sunny and not one single cloud in the sky. The second mountain range I visited that weekend and also the first day of cold and rain was the Beskid Wyspowy mountains and it's peak Mogielica. On top of this mountain there is a tower and jsut when we were starting going up it started to rain. Nevertheless, the view from up there is amazing.
In both mountains you could see sign with a yellow cross. That means that it's the Pope trail, meaning that Pope at some time did that trail.

After coming down from the tower and until late in the evening it didn't stop raining. In Gosia and Jarek's house hot tea, a couple of pizzas and a hot shower was waiting for us.
A group of people left that morning but another came in the afternoon. The following day we found a ride all the way to Kraków with some guys that spent the night with us.
Ania had one more day left for holiday so we spent it exploring the city.
